- The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), working under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has developed new software for the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). This upgrade has helped reduce claim rejections and enhanced the efficiency of claim settlements.
- Previously, rejection rates, which had surged from 13% in 2017-18 to 34% in 2022-23, have now seen a notable decrease following the software upgrade.
