FSSAI Cracks Down on Unlawful Fruit Ripening Methods
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India has mandated all states and Union Territories to conduct targeted enforcement operations.

The initiative’s primary goal is to safeguard consumer health by ensuring only naturally ripened fruits are sold in the market.

Gujarat Witnesses a 32% Rise in Asiatic Lion Numbers Since 2020
According to the Gujarat Forest Department, the state’s Asiatic lion population has surged by 32% over five years.
As of 2025, the total number of lions stands at 891, indicating successful conservation strategies.
