Shri Amit Shah Inaugurates ₹708 Crore Development Projects in Gandhinagar and Applauds ‘Operation Sindoor’

  • Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, initiated and laid the foundation for multiple developmental initiatives amounting to ₹708 crore in Gandhinagar.

  • These works were launched in conjunction with a benefit-distribution event organized by the Department of Posts.

  • During his address, Shri Shah highlighted the triumph of ‘Operation Sindoor’, which involved India’s retaliatory operations following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

Foundation Stone Laid for ₹42.4 Crore Integrated Aquapark in Tripura under PMMSY

  • Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh) laid the foundation stone for an Integrated Aquapark located in Kailashahar, Tripura.

  • This project, costing ₹42.4 crores, is being developed under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).

Punjab National Bank to Sell Entire Stake in Isarc for ₹34 Crore

  • Punjab National Bank (PNB) has entered into an agreement to divest its complete shareholding in India SME Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd (Isarc).

  • The total stake, comprising 2.09 crore shares, is being sold at ₹16.29 per share, amounting to ₹34.04 crore.

  • The divestment is anticipated to be finalized by the end of the first quarter of the 2025–26 fiscal year and is part of PNB’s portfolio streamlining efforts.
