Capitalmind Receives SEBI Approval for Mutual Fund Business
Capitalmind Financial Services, led by Deepak Shenoy, has received the final approval from SEBI to begin operations under Capitalmind Mutual Fund.
The operations will be handled through Capitalmind Asset Management Private Limited (Capitalmind AMC).
The AMC plans to launch actively managed equity funds that will rely on quantitative investment strategies.
Capitalmind currently manages over ₹2,000 crore in assets across Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), catering to a client base of 1,400+ investors.
HDFC Bank Executes India’s First Gold Forward Deal from GIFT City
HDFC Bank has become the first Indian bank to carry out a gold forward deal from GIFT City.
The transaction was facilitated by the International Banking Unit (IBU) of HDFC Bank in collaboration with Hindustan Platinum, a prominent player in the precious metals refining sector.
A gold forward deal is an agreement to buy/sell gold at a set price on a future date, allowing businesses to hedge against price volatility and secure their financial interests.
