• President Droupadi Murmu Honored with Doctorate in Slovakia
On her concluding day of a four-day state visit to Portugal and Slovakia, President Droupadi Murmu was presented with an Honorary Doctorate by Constantine The Philosopher University in Nitra.

It also underscores her role in strengthening inclusive governance and championing the Santhali language, highlighting India’s expanding global stature.
• PM Modi Inaugurates ₹3,880-Crore Development Projects in Varanasi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and launched projects worth more than ₹3,880 crore, targeting various sectors like transport, energy, education, and welfare.
Key allocations: Over ₹980 crore for improving road infrastructure, ₹1,820 crore in power projects (400 KV & 220 KV substations), and ₹345 crore under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
