India Becomes World’s Second-Largest Tea Exporter in 2024

  • India overtook Sri Lanka to become the second-highest global tea exporter, following Kenya.

  • Exported volume in 2024 stood at 254 million kg, an increase from 231 million kg in 2023.

  • Kenya maintained its top spot with exports exceeding 500 million kg.

CDS Gen Anil Chauhan Opens Techkriti 2025 at IIT Kanpur

  • Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan inaugurated Techkriti 2025, Asia’s largest tech and startup event, hosted by IIT Kanpur.
