Union Minister Pabitra Margherita Inaugurates SILKTECH 2025

Matsya-6000: India’s Deep-Ocean Submersible Completes Wet Testing
- The Matsya-6000, a fourth-generation deep-sea human submersible developed under the Samudrayan Project, successfully completed wet testing.
- The project, spearheaded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences and the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), aims to boost India’s deep-sea exploration capabilities.
